"Sci-Fi movies tribute album" on which Mr Quimby's
Beard contributed a specially recorded song entitled "Quatermass
And The Pit" was released by Italian record label Blackwidow
early 2003. The album (a 3 disc box set) also contains tracks by
Hawkwind, Krel & Quarkspace amongst others.

of a series of Pink Floyd Tribute albums by the German fanzine Eclipsed.
More Relics... released in spring 2002, features a specially
recorded version of Pink Floyds early classic "A Saucerful of
Secrets" by Mr Quimby's Beard, other bands on this album
include, Liquid Visions & RPWL.

This
"label compilation" album was Mr Quimby's Beards first appearance
on Cd. Released in 1996 by Demi
Monde, it includes the same version of the song
"Travelling", which was later released on the MQB album
"Out There". Also on this album are songs by, Amon Duul II
(feat. Robert Calvert), Gongmaison and The Oroonies to name
but a few.

Quimby's Beard have also appeared on several other compilation
albums and tapes, including releases by, Stone Premonitions, Music
& Elsewhere and the Sysyphus labels, but as all of these
releases only contain MQB material that is taken straight from
official MQB albums we haven't included them on this page.

007) in 1996 then re-issued as a Freaky
Fungi Cdr in 2000, "The Light" by MQB's Keyboard/Synth
player Hardy also features guest appearances by fellow band members,
Ray & Kidd as well as Tim Jones & Terri B from Census
Of Hallucinations (both of whom also guested on The Definitive
Unsolved Mysteries Of....) and Krom
Lek's frontman Dave Musgrove.
Afresco
Mantis - The Harris Tweed EP

Released
by Freaky Fungi in 2000 The
Harris Tweed EP is the first release by Afresco Mantis. MQB drummer
Chris has been drumming for Afresco Mantis since they began in 1992,
whilst Quimbys Bass Guitarist Kidd has been a member of Afresco
Mantis (playing Flute & Synths) since 1993.
